Her career combines deep technical mastery—rooted in systems, networking, and security architecture, including a Technical Emmy win and work with the FreeBSD Project—with artistic precision. As a sound engineer, Tess specializes in production, mixing, and mastering, using a hybrid approach of analog emulation and modern tools to achieve crystal clear, dynamic, and technically precise results.Violet Wanda is her industrial, EBM, and futurepop centerpiece, lauded by ReGen Magazine and featured on two DEF CON OSTs. Violet Wanda is an active remix artist, appearing on compilations like RETRONOMICON and receiving a second-place award in Brittany Bindrim's "Volcano" remix contest. Violet Wanda has done remixes for Matt Hart, Caustic, Conn.rar of Cyanotic, Arclight Halo (who she has collaborated with on covers), Wandering Whispers, Strangerscape, Skull Cultist, and Teledeath.Exposure Kills focuses on industrial dance pop and has embarked on writing a concept album that explores information security in a science fiction/superhero setting, a concept drawn from her personal writing.
